Absolutely gorgeous work Annie.
I really like the way you set this up. In my opinion it is just as good as the photo which won first prize. It should have come equal first.

A beautiful still life created here. Love the blend of items, would make a beautiful card or even a very nice canvas piece, clarity and colors are beautiful. I think the lighting is a little too harsh from the left side. Still very beautiful. -Sherry

Lovely still life shot. Well constructed in it's composition. The Topaz treatment works really well and I think overall it almost looks like a painting rather than a straight photograph. That's what makes it good. Excellent shot produced from, as you say, virtually nothing but a few grabs of stuff available.

Really fabulous work Annie. You never fail to surprise and inspire me with your creativity and talent. The neutral shades and tones work so well together here and your editing is superb. This just screams 'holiday' and makes me want to step right into the frame and settle in that chair!
