Very colorful monstrous kind of guy. I like iguanas and this one is very nice. I've never seen them pant either. My bird does though. :) Exceptional close up of a mighty looking reptile.

An excellent shot. The vibrant colours and the clarity of detail in the image are really good. The DoF to get superb separation from the background is beautifully controlled. The framing ideal with the diagonal arch of the lizards back and the breathing space to the left all make this a great image. Check out the close up by this artist of this animal as that is even marginally better than this.

thanks so much Taff, for your review and comments. They are always welcomed. And thanks for the tip of my other close up piece. I strive to do better with each photo I take. I've had lots of help here on FAR (Sange) for keeping them true to the camera.

Great detail. The gray spots on the forehead and neck remind me of something on a dinosaur. The various shades of green on the body and the black lines are really neat! Photos like this really show what you are missing when you look at these guys from a distance!

OMG - here we go with the entire guy - he is very special and your picture is really giving him a special moment - you got him in an excellent way - this is an outstanding image, very professional with a perfect background - these colors are stunning - his design is so special cannot take the eyes of him - your angle and position is perfect - your adjustments make him shine - the open mouth is an amazing add as we can see how bog the inside space of his mouth is and the red tong coming out is absolutely great - this is a book shot worth to end up in teaching items- well done
