Indeed it its! Nice go at still life, the background complimentbthe rose's colour beautifully. It is well focused and nicely exposed, the subduedvlight works very nicely here

Yes we all want them. This one in particular is what I like. I love pink. This is a perfect opening bud. The bud next to it goes well with it. Very lovely background. Overall a great photo! Good luck in the contest.

A very attractive rose which is not yet open. I would say this flower is a purlish pink colour, flushed ligher on the underside of the petals. Like the arrangement with an additional bud to the side of the main subject. I have to say though that I do not like your treatment of the background. The lighter tones in the lower part of the frame are very complimentary to those in the petals of the rose and I personally think these should have be used over the entire background. Good Luck in the contest.

Roses are red....no, magenta! This rose is fascinating with its appealing color and undulating bicolored petals, set against a contrasting background. Its partner to the right hints of the prospect of hidden beauty yet to be unfolded. Nice technique and cropped to please.
