WOW his is stunning! They are such placid animals and always seem to give the air of great wisdom in their stance.Nice composition and conversion with nice shades of grey's, good focus on him showing lots of nice detail, and good depth. Well done.

I am not so sure about gentle..saw a video once of them tearing a chimpanzee apart! I like your shot! Has super nice detail in the face and the fur, the pose is so human, and the black and white adds way nice "Feel" and creativity too the piece. Donkeyoatey

I think they are more docile than the chimps myself. Chimps will hunt and kill other chimps. But the larger apes are scary due to size. Thanks donkey!

A great shot with a perfect mono treatment. The tones within the greyscale are really well treated. The detail and focus are spot on. The framing is excellent with some breathing space around her. Really excellently executed image.

ok dont laugh..i was lazy that day and didnt want to do nothing but sit ther and scratch myself..now that takes a lot of work! EVIL GRIN..LOL. the clarity is great. the capture of the lighth is great. the cropping is good. overall great job.
