I am rather fond of somewhat abstract images images as this and do post a few.

Like the play of the lines against each other. The subject is the curled leaf tip and nice that it is at the apex of the triangle.

Nice lighting, rather soft which is what is needed in an image like this one and it allows for a nice dynamic range.

Well done, good sharpness, creative and would be a nice entry for a seeing green contest.

I agree with you, leaves can be just as beautiful and interesting as a flower. Like your composition with the central rib of one leaf running across the frame from one corner to the bottom corner. Lots of texture in that leaf and also soft colours. The other small leaf looks a different type. Definitely adds to the composition and I especially like the way it curls over at its tip. Very good framing, focus and colours.
