Definitely a unique edit on this bud. I think the selective coloring really accentuates the repeating pattern of coverlets on the bud. Great shot!

Strangely enough I did not intially recognise this as a sunflower- and yet I grow these in my garden. The colour treatment makes the plant look different! I actually like it. Black and grey tones in the background with grey leaves and then the bud in deep green. An unusual colour combination but which striking.
