I think this is the same spot which I review a few minutes ago. I think you have taken this from a different position and timing. Be that as it may, this is a wonderful shot of nature. Light and sharpness are very effective in creating a lovely capture. Good efort!

I know you do not use software program to boost your images so this is SOOC.
What makes it great is the exposure setting and your capture of a natural scene with the light in the all important grid of photographic rules of design.
The natural pathway of the human eye is to gravitate to the brightest part on the frame and also the most patterned...and it couldn't get more perfect if you tried tiring yourself out in Photoshop!
Very excellent catch Fred, and the dark foreground frames and holds everything in for us.
This rating does not count towards story rating or author rank.
The highest and the lowest rating are not included in calculations.

Another great sunset with a dramatic sky. Like the vibrant sky colors all reflected on the water with silhouetted boats and distant mountains. You have a wonderful view from your home.

Beautiful shot Fred! Love those dark storm clouds and then the red and gold at the left of the photo. The color on the water is terrific with the boats at anchor. Great photo and well captured for sure.

I like the soaring of the rain clouds as if giving warning to all the places covered by its cold shadow below.
Contrasting blue skyline and orange sunset gleaming and reflection illuminating the sailboats docking like abandoned small ships after a storm.
