such a dramatic and also striking image. very well realized and executed. what is most evident, is that the cat faces have a completely natural and complimentary look, to the actual bodies they are fitting. it is a very wonderful picture, that works just as well with no explanation.

Thank you very much. I was just told about a English TV series, where cat-people are the main characters. I had no idea.

Mmmmm I'd like Fatima to sit on my lap and tell me her version of the story , (she need'nt hurry I'd have all night ) I never think we can have enough Feline friends , like all great postings for me if they leave more questions than answers , that's just how it should be . (please note being a gentleman I never once mentioned the word "pussy"

I have an idea why the Queen got p... of, ahm, upset, she must have found a gentleman looking just like you last night in Fatimas room. Of curse I know you are always a Gentle Man who would never use words....

What a bunch of "catty" people! LOL! Unique for sure, and I like that the "queen" is a cat. How creative you are, this is certainly different, and made me smile! Donkeyoatey

Thank you! I am happy you like it, but happier that it made you smile. That is my favorite exercise, making people smile. Cleo

Okay, not sure if these are costumes masks, but they are so believable. Funny and I think I have a story of my own involving the other three ladies in my golf foursome! Enjoying this in Florida! LOL! Jean

No they are not costumes masks, The human part [the bodies] are from a photo taken at a Halloween party two years ago. The cat heads are digitally cut from for different photos of cats [friends and mine] and were merged into the picture. The cat faces were exchanged [made smaller, wider, longer etc] to feed the characters. The crowns and veils are painted. Cleo

well my guess is mama is upset that she didn't get the princesses crown on her royal head. I say this definately takes the cats meow! Fun stuff! :)PD

It's not my story, but it is a possibility indeed. Thank you very much for your creative review.

Ha, Ha - what an amusing shot. And even more so because we have an advert on the tv at present in the UK showing people with cat faces! Some of them give me the creeps though, as do some of those in your shot. Particularly the taller lady/cat in the right hand side of the frame. The cat appeals to be hissing and those long fingernails on the hand do nothing to calm my fears! Very clever and very entertaining.

Thank you very much for ypour review and the amazing rating! I had no idea about the series. Thanks for telling me. It was the call of this mixed media contest, having animals doing something human. I was thinking of Old Possums Book of Practical Cats [T.S.Eliot] and the Cats Musical based on it.

A very interesting composition and super idea - kind like the animal inside of us represented by the royals for that special kingdom - great DOF - super composition and arrangements - very nice frame - perfect contrast and lighting, all the best for the contest

Thank you very much. You have a good point on the story. Animals are used in fables, to represent human character and behavior since ancient times.
