Why crop him so abruptly in that awkward part.?
I like the tiger look in his eyes!
Nice plumage color and pattern.

Eileen, this is tremendously well focused with super clarity in the feathers. Beautiful head shot with a clear and distinct eye. Colors and markings are great against the blurred background. Very well done.

A wow shot 6* and even better - super frame - absolute great focus - super framed with a wonderful emerging color background that shows us your close up settings - this bird has a beautiful body design and the position he is resting shows us that he is confident - sympathic look with the few "hair" that are standing up from his head - great color saturation, super lighting - a splendid shot in all details
