I say we empty the sky of stars! Far says..no more extra stars for my shadow! Sigh.
E, I LOVE this! My Swanboy is so adorable and coy! He is such a flirt!
Love the selective color and the vignette. An emotive capture.
Anyone who tells you vignettes mean you are hiding something, tell them to sod off! I was there on the left of you when you took this.
He was looking at me as I was speaking to him. The background was clear! As for his colors...again our Florida mute swans are not snow white. Their head and necks have a tan color do to the tanic acid in our water.
This is flawless, stunning, elegant, emotive and oh so Swanderful!
Well done!

Wow a different kind of presentation ( never heard about Shy setting LOL) so I just can imagine on your image what that does - anyways the position you got from him is handsome as he seems to rest on his back - this image has a very special lighting - and lets him look like kind of being behind a curtain hiding from a clear view - a very interesting composition - nice shot

Excellent! Great composition of this shy guy. Nice sharp focus on him giving nice detail in his beak and feathers, nice colours achieved with your layers and good depth to which the vignette adds. Very well done.

I LOVE it Eileen! The end results with your techs and beautiful image of swan boy you have created a truly amazing work of Photographic art! First, the lighting itself, stunning, focusing solely on the swan boys while highlighting the details in his gorgeous feathers! The pose, not sure if its sad or he is in deep thought and mourning for his lost mate and what could have been had she survived! The b.g. adds a certain beauty while giving a softness to Swan Boy. The d.o.f. perfection and feel I can reach out and touch the amazing swan. Whatever you did you did it with a perfect artistic and photographic eye! WOW this is sooooo impressive!

I have swans on the canal which runs past my front door. They are such beautiful birds I personally do not think you need to mess with photographs of them. I do like the pose with the head pointing downwards and resting on the body. I hate the vignette and never have liked them. I do not think they enhance images and I always get the feeling the photographer is trying to hide something that should not be in the shot in the first place. I cannot understand why you have messed with the colours either. For me, the bird looks like he has been swimming in very dirty waters! The bill is the wrong colour too. Sorry but seeing these in real life every day, I cannot appreciate your alterations to this shot. Going against the flow of opinions I know, but sticking to my guns on this one!

Stupendous!! I am totally mesmerized by your photo. I appreciate how you explained what you did. I am a newbie and not too familiar with more complex adjustments. Your choices are perfection and turned out a magnificent piece of art. I am glad I joined FAR.

SOOOO very gorgeous! I really love this one and the pose he is giving you. Very submissive, graceful... Changing it to monotone and selective color is brilliant for this shot. I also like the texture to the shot. Beautiful lighting and detail. This is one is really pretty, but all your shots are.

I love this shot. It is so striking with great impact the second you set eyes on it. The treatment to give it the detail and tonality is fantastic. The vignette really focuses all of the attention right into the centre of frame. I love the colour pop of the orange beak to just bring a touch of colour back in. All very well framed and composed with great creativity in the treatment.
