I have never seen this plant before and find it to be very interesting, The shape of it, and the vivid color of red with a few yellow pods is very nice. You have captured the texture and shine in the petals wonderfully. An excellent contest entry. Very unique.

An unusual, interesting looking plant with bonus yellow color for added interest. Is it edible? Has a profile a bit like a pine cone, but brightly colored. Definitely red, with good focus, filling the frame.
