Although I have never taken a picture with hunting in my mind, I see where you are coming from. I could not kill any thing this beautiful.
I like the black around the edges. Strange deer with stripes in its fur.
Beautiful photo as long as I don't think about hunting.

Beautiful use of the vignette to highlight the deer. Lighting is great and shows off the facial features to great advantage.
The green leaves give great dimension to the piece.

Lovely shot Eileen. Good focus, appropriate light and detail. The sense I get is that we are in a deep forest with only spots of bright light showing through. I'm glad that more and more people "hunt" with their cameras. cainse

I agree...the only shooting I do is with my camera. I love the ultra low perspective though. Great vignette to hone in on the deer.
