Eileen,
Wow what a perfect composition & picture of rge White Egrats, Mum & two Chicks. Looks as if you especially positioned the chicks waiting for Mum to regirgitate down their throats. Taken with expertise superb camera techniques & razor sharp focus.

Super to see your family again with grown up youngsters already standing out of the nest - great to see how their feathers are growing- They are waiting for the food to arrive and the little ones are not patient - great capture, super frame - super composition, amazing adjustments - perfect DOF, super contrast - a perfect angle and position to create an outstanding image taken out of a special life situation, well done

Well done.

Nice action and great story telling.

The dark, saturated green background works great with the white and the yellow bills. Very nice visual impact.

Like the stance, like 'OK, dinner is done, there is no more'.

Great job of showing white as not bland, featureless white - these people on the site never seem to get that white should have texture and detail. Image also has nice subject sharpness and a well defined background that does not impose on the image.

This here damn site still will not allow me to give you anything more than a five.

Darn FAR, kills my chances of all them sixes :) I do try to keep with the non blow outs of the whites and pride myself with that much at least. Thanks again Charles.

Ah, I did not look sufficiently close.

Here, due to the elimination of the wolf, hunters are required to cull the deer herd and the deer are all the better for it. I do not choose to be one that does it though.

In Africa, there is still a lot of big game hunting going on including Elephants, lions, zebra, etc. and I do not see the need for it as the natural predators are still there. I do realize that the hunters pay a very high price and that it helps to keep the conservation efforts going but I still do not like. They can make more money from photo shooting in the long range.

    Have a great day.

Perhaps we should form a group of those that pledge to not blow the white.

Should keep the address of this one handy of a place to point someone to show them how whites should look.

Awesome beauty into all that you present here. Extreme , vivid, perfect details, lovely expressions on all 3 and very cool your description. The tiny feather details lows me away. The beaks, eyes and positions are cute. I feel like interacting with them, kinda add some extra LOL. Many thanks my fried.

Great title lol I love the impatient birds squawking at their mom and her neck looks so cool twisted up. I can tell you've been out with Sandra, nice wildlife shots like hers. Good lighting and color!
