This is awesome. I am a huge GNR fan and this is simply amazing. I am artistic with a camera but not with my hands so it's just awesome to see this.

You have definitely captured his look and feel in this fine piece, Mark. Back several years ago, I spent some time away from corporate America by managing a rock band which my son, then a teenager was the lead singer in. They would often do the Headliner gig at clubs such as the Roxy, Troubadour, Gazzaris and of course the Whisky all in Hollywood. Slash, Axel and the boys would be out there a good portion of the time back in those days. You reminded me of being around him back then. Well done!! JAKE

The fact that you created this with sharpie's and BIC pens is bloomin fantastic. You should be the face of sharpie or something; you're really excellent. Faultless!

you have talent my friend, this is awesome, how long did it take to draw this? wouldve taken me a year at least, youve made his guitar bigger than him and his hat not quite to scale but his hair is wicked and the sunnies and the detail, great image indeed

this one 2 days from sketch to ink..what sux i had to work a 12 shift in between so maybe sooner if i worked on it straight..look, i have worked with this medium for several decades. like riding a bike when u know what works and what dont. it might be fast now,but yrs back i would be saying the same thing about taking a yr.wink. thanks for the great review!

Never anything but praise for your fantastic work MK. Just curious though, The reflection in his glasses, is that a pair of legs standing there? LOVE YOUR WORK :-)

You're so clever with your sharpie pens! I'd never be able to do anything remotely like this. The colours you used are brilliant and all the details you put in his hair and guitar are fantastic. Wish I had a 6 left. Great work. Suzanne

oh yes u can..just remember this about a sharpie..1st when sketch out ur drawing map out where ur highlight will be and 2nd start with light colors and finish in the darker ones. as u can tell it is opposite of painting. it is an unforgiving medium so watch out for mistakes because they r difficult to cover up. with ur talent. i have seen the most simple drawings do win contest. i think u would do very well with those tips i gave ya..wink. thanks for the great review!
