Very pretty photo. I love the DOF the purples in the back really enhance the green leaves. YOu did a good job on your focus and detail.

There is really a lot to like about this piece, of course the leaf with the little droplet, simplistic. Coupled with that amazing background, you produced a work of art. By having the green and purple background it pulls the leaf right off the screen, sort of a 3D effect. Very nicely put together, you took your time with your subject and it worked.

There is really a lot to like about this piece, of course the leaf with the little droplet, simplistic. Coupled with that amazing background, you produced a work of art. I toyed with a few water drop shots today, but didn't have a complementary colorful background like this with a verdant leaf, resulting in an attention grabbing composition. Like the color combo and good focus on the subject. Can see some purple in it as well. Nice job!

That explains the bright color- bougainvilleas blooms are eye popping, a tad hard to survive in my desert area with hot summers but can get frosty in winter.

they bloom in abundance here :) I'm lucky, the colors are so lovely.

My type of image. Simple and simple is one of the requirements for elegance.
The green plays well against the royal purple background, the brightness and crispness of the drop gives the image a focal point, purpose, draws the eye. Like the echo of the main leaf and drop in the background that adds a bit of complexity and makes the subject appear that much more vibrant.

An appropriate title for this image because without water there would be no life. I have always likede purplish tones with green, although some people do not think this is a good colour combination. The leaf with the water drop is in sharp focus, as is the water at its tip. Background is suitably blurred making sure focus remains on the subjects.

A beautiful picture exuding the peace & harmony of life with the water of life dripping softly from the tip of the green leaf. Held within the drop is the image of it's surroundings in miniature. The blurred purple flowers making the perfect backdrop for the droplet & leaf. Artistic composition with sharp focus a superb camera techniques & beautiful soft lighting.
