A beautiful photo indeed. I saw baby ones of these in a zoo in Malacca. You are lucky that he sat watching you before he took off. I never knew they grew so big. A perfect photo to me.

Super shot, Eileen. I love the position you caught it in. Sort of looking over its shoulder at you wondering what is going on. Very nice color and definition that makes it all pop. Perfect composition too. Well done.

LOVE the green against the dark dock and the blue water. he seems almost regal! Wee bit of blur in the tail, but I bet noone notices that, as his bady and face are so well done! donkeyoatey

The art of teaching lizards to pose. Your friend seems more than willing to enjoy having his picture taken. Absolutely superb. The dock wood provides the base with the water backdrop given as the perfect setting for this beautiful sunlit day. Extremely well framed with impeccable lighting.

sometimes its ok to lie a bit, you didnt have to say that,i wouldve believed the title, not that it really matters, because this is a wonderful photo, im just curious, has its tail gone brown to blend in with the wood? Because thats brilliant if it has, i just love the focus and stillness of the shot here

I find that they do turn darker greenish, brown when sitting on something other than green. And when they shed, they tend to go very green again in their surroundings. Thanks so much Lethal. So kind of you!
