Not really anything firm I can put my finger on, but this just is not one of my faves..it seems "patch" background wise, and not as dreamy as it could be..perhaps if the edges were less defined by lines, and softer? Still worthy of five stars for creativity alone! Donkeyoatey

Wow, really pretty Eileen. Love the whites! White is hard to work with but you've done a great job here. So pretty and delicate. Great pose, composition. Just beautiful.

Swans swim up and down on the canal outside my home all the time. I see them regularly and have to say I really prefer to see wildlife in its natural state. Having said that though, I do like the treatment you have given to this shot. Basically because the swan himself looks more or less natural. He does have soft edges but I like that. Seems you have worked more on the background and I also like the effects there. Overall a striking shot.

I like this a lot Eileen. It appears as if you have used a softening filter in the shot to smooth things out a bit while retaining the good focus and sharp detail in the shot.

Swan is beautiful and certainly grateful to be taken care of with so many consolations he is getting from all of you - a very special presentation as you found a way to enhance him totally like if his mind is with his mate and all his energy is going to the exterior including all of you as he feels so well - great frame - great capture - very nice modifications, well done

I APPLAUD your Creative side with my SWANBOY! It is like he is in a snow blizzard.
Love the eye, how he looks right at us when I speak to him and how you framed him here with a swirly curly circular motion.
it is like a dream of him.
Really so YOU and so Unique!
Trippin the Eileeentastic artsy FARtsy side!
Lovely!

I love the softness of this and how you portrayed his flirty side........he has been a swan angel to me this month. My heart was broken in two..and you and he helped turn my black days into white pure days......Thanks..I love this!

I think the composition is excellent and your effects actually accentuate this simpler composition to me. That is because they give the shot a more painted look than photographic so that the shape and form must be perfect. Keep experimenting!

This is an interesting shot of the bird.. The curve of its neck and the soft focus makes it unique. it an interesting viewing. Fine composition, soft colours and very good light makes this very viewable. Thanks for sharing!
