Read your notes so thank you for the information. Before I read your notes I thought you had created this in Photoshop or by using similar software and you have confirmed that. For me the image looks too staged. The woman is on one side of the picture and the man on the other. There appears to be an equal amount of space either side which looks rather unnatural. The perspective does not work for me. Both are on the same plain but the woman looks larger than the man, giving the impression she is standing in front of him. But the straight line of the foreground says otherwise! The figures have a feathered edge around them which is probably due to your choice of brush. A softer brush would probably give a better finish. Finally the background is rather uninteresting. Perhaps you could have used a colour more indicative of the sky with a few fluffy white clouds passing by. Or a starlit night. Something with more interest would certainly give the picture more appeal.

Great mind tease! I see them as looking longingly at something, maybe a sunset. Or, they could be looking up at a UFO?? I like this because it is a conversation piece. Great idea!

Well lets see, with the stance of the woman, she is standing straight with her shoulders back and her feet are planted flatly against the ground. This would be a sign that she is not happy. And the man is leaning forward as if he is really trying to get her to come back or to stay. So my theory is that she is saying good bye and he is trying to keep her from leaving. Not really a hello situation at all. And maybe not a goodbye situation forever. But as it stands at the moment she is definitely wanting to leave, she's serious and feeling defensive so I'm even going to go so far as to say he has done something to her that makes her want to leave him. This is a very interesting form of art and I give you an A+ for thinking of something so unique. I would love to know the different conclusions everyone comes up with. That's going to be amazing. Great job creating this.

You are so very welcome for the review, and just out of curiosity what was your intention for the couple. Were they saying hello or goodbye?

Well, for me, they are perfect unknown, that simply to be in a point of departure and return. Can be a port, to train station, an aiport. By that, while one say: Hello to the person that arrives, the other said: Good bye, to the person that are goes. Very well composed and presented. Excellent job.

My choice is they are meeting for the first time and will have a beautiful loving relationship for the rest of their life. I guess I am a hopeless romantic.

As painting goes, this isnt very difficult but certainly original and inspired. Black and monochrome background. As you said, the viewer decides on the plot. 'I am leaving you!!!' Nioce work

I really like works like this.
Works where the viewer can put their own interpretation on it.
The use of silhouette has made this possible.
Good one.
Thanks for sharing
