As for global warming, I heard the other day that the ice caps are greater than they have been in years. So much for Al Gore's theory.

I have seen a number of very good images for the Time contest, and this image is in that class. I like the composition showing a large clock face in the background. It appears as though it is floating in space. The effective is very decorative and pleasing to view. I used to have a timer like the one you have used. The sands run through from the top into the bottom. Because you mention global warming in your notes you have placed ice and a polar bear where the sand would normally be. That is clever thinking and also very creative. I have to say though that I do not understand the image in the bottom part of the timer. Excuse my ignorance! The whole picture is colourful, well constructed and I believe fits the theme of the contest. Good Luck. Regarding global warming, I read that experts are saying the planet has another 1,750,000 years before it expires!
