I think you'll get hooked on this type of editing - it's so much fun and quite addictive! You've created a wonderful abstract art work here with great symmetry and what I like most is the colour - the splashes of red just lift the piece. Very creative - I love it!

Thank you! I am happy you like it.
It is one of my old pictures, was an mostly knifed oil brush of a flowering meadow, before I got my kaleidoscope on it. This fairy came out in a small part of it. I just enhanced her some. It was a bit odd. She just appeared. Well I guess that is what fairies do.[I have some other creatures as well, which I will post ever once in a while]. Cleo

Yes..we have ZERO control over what creates itself inside our art..just the muses playing about! thank you for the map..that is very cool, and interesting..sort of amazing isn't it? Donkeyoatey

Yes that map is amazing. I found it first in a children book about mystical creatures. You find the darnest things if you read children books. Cleo

At first I thought this is a painting. The color application has a strong traditional abstract painting feel. The depth in the background color is very well dedined. the red and black combination is my favarite, becjase it created very myterious delth and that is want i see here. In con parison to the background color, the foreground flowers are painted bold which simply pops in the background, which is quite complementary for your cute fairy.

You may try abstract like landscape with the similar stule (background and the flowers). I think it works beautifully.

Thank you for sharing.

My apologies for replying so late!
I am happy you like this composition. The strong feel of traditional painting is caused by the subject I used. You gave me the idea of using older pictures and change them digitally. This picture was a summer landscape, a meadow in oil I transferred into the digital program, cropped it and applied kaleidoscope filters. The picture you see is just a small part of the whole picture. I will post more of it in time.

WOW, Cleo, I was just seeing if I could upload something tonight and this beautiful work popped up in the view! I LOVE the colors and the images. I was certain it was a painting (still wasn't convinced so I enlarged - LOL!_ THis is just a lovely work and well worth a 6 in my book! I especially love experimental pieces like this and wish more artists felt free to post them! Hope all is well! Jean

Thank you so much! You made my day. I am happy you like it. I was indeed a painting; I guess it still is; but blown into atoms which assembled themselves to something different. This was odd. It was expected that something very different come out, but I did not expected an entire metamorphosis, a complete new story, which nevertheless made sense.
