A lovely picture and great imagery to depict the link across time of your grandmother and father. The use of the browns and sepia adds an antique quality to the work. Great use of graphics which are not too prominent. I know what you mean about not asking them at the time. Luckily, I still have my mother to fill in some of the gaps but second hand stories are never like the person telling you themselves.
