    MK Flood,

thank you for the honor of giving this the high rating.

I think with any media and technique used the challenge is to try and capture reality, I am pleased to hear you think I accomplished that with this drawing.
Thank you for having taken the time to look and then leaving me your thoughts on my artwork, it is truly appreciated.

Fantastic piece of work Lucien! Amazing detail achieved with this pointillism process, and I am sure tremendously time consuming. Great color and lighting in the snowfall.

I like your subjects but then again would do since I liked your other work showing bison. The way the colours have been used in this work give the impression that animals are standing in a snow storm or, on the other hand, the day is so hot there is a haze. Either way, I like the effect. Obviously took ages to complete so I applaud you for your patience. Love the blue tones in this picture.

I admire you for the painstaking effort this must require. You have achieved the goal of making it look like winter and it looks as though the wind might be blowing causing the snow to swirl about. Very well done.

When I looked at the thumbnail, I was almost convinced that this was a photo, but then I saw your name and knew straight ahead that a pointillism drawing would be revealed. You have for sure managed to show us the cold reality of winter in this work with all the clear blue tones. I even think you have managed to create the textures of snow. It is easy to picture these two animals walking slowly in a blizzard.

As usual this is done with good attention to detail, but what impresses me the most is how you brought light into this composition with good distinctions between light and darker areas. It is the contrasts I find here that is working so well, and yet with a good flow.

This is also a well balanced composition with the two animals off to the right, and it also a good balance between negative and positive space. In my opinion this is a well crafted pointillism drawing, and I wish you luck with the contest.

The pointillism effect is especially interesting for the theme of this drawing. The Bison appears as if in a snow storm or thick snowfall walking toward us, coming better in view how close they are. You archived a great dept here. The picture has an impressive 3D effect.
