Thank you Galia, I appreciate your honest review very much! But I do not understand your suggestion, Empty areas? I need your help her, as the established Mixed Media you are. Which what else than color and light I could fill those areas, without distracting from the book, but still fill the requirements of the story? Please help. I am at loss with that.

Original and quirky , great story telling , full of intrigue with so much imagination . I found it fascinating and wish you luck and good fortune in one day making your book dream a reality.

What an imagination. The design will make a terrific cover for the future book of your imagination. The wording on the cover is very well laid out as well as is the font selections. The illustrations are wonderful and will be a great enhancement for the cover.

Well, I would like a NOT BLIND contest much better myself, but the theme was to intriguing to ignore the contest. I would have been a honor and a challenge to have you in the competition.

thanks for the thought but to much work..only get to a puter for some much time. im here for name building only cant do that on blind contest..the non blind exposes my name by participation and really dont win those anyway but folks will remember the name..or at least they will say.. know the old sharpie dude..u know like a commercial..wink

Who isn't here of the real serious guys to build a name? I am too. i know its pretty dumb, but I can never withstand a contest with a good theme, even if its blind.LOL

Thanks for the interesting notes.
Excellent process to create this eye catching book cover.
Color contrast are visually appealing.
Simple but cool.
The gold on blue has strong initial impact as it can be readily read even from a distance if the the viewer is not near-sighted like me.

Thank you for your kind review. This is not a photo, which could be cropped, because this book does not existed in reality. I made it up on the computer and put it into the background. The background is there in purpose, because otherwise the story would not work. You obviously did not read the comments. This is not made for the contest, but it is just happen that it feed into. This is an illustration for a children book, I am working on. The illustration starts to make sense if you read the Epilog and notes provided in my comments. :-)

Thank you. I appreciate the time you needed to look at my picture and write the review. I do not promote my writing or my photography, because this book dos not exist in print and the picture is not a photo! This is an contest entry; entirely generated on the computer for a contest with a special theme. You evidently did not read the contest rules or my comments.
It would be nice if you would specify what you think is technically or artistically wrong with this Digital Composition. It would be more helpful to me, then a verbal attack on a 'promotion' which does not exist and probably would violate the rules. I am expecting your clarifying answer to my reply.

It is always nice to see alternate approaches. Creativity really speaks here.I also like the gentle overflow which seems to lead the gentleness of the flower.I also like the story which can have umpteen illustrations. This is a fine illustration. Good luck in the contest!
