Very good title since the wings spread as in your shot do look like wings of an angel. Very good capture with the bird well placed in the frame. Your focus is very sharp and the colour in the sky is just beautiful. You may have saturated that but it works on this occasion. Good Luck in the contest at voting time.

Very good entry for the take off contest. I like the angle you caught here as the dove seems to be looking right at you.
The bright blue sky makes a perfect frame. Lighting and focus very good showing excellent detail. Very nice composition. Good luck in the contest. Suzanne

A beautiful shot with the spread wings and tail. Great colors and positioning of the subject in the frame. I would prefer a perch other than a power wire, but even the wire is nicely placed in the frame.

I also think the profile is so elegant. the wing position is perfect to shoe off the beauty of the wings. If this were a white bird I think the effect is greater, but this is already very good. Thank you for sharing.

This photograph has such superb clarity, capturing, as it does, the pigeon in flight. It was quite a coup to catch the downward sweep of its wings in this way. The vivid blue of the sky and the twisted wire provide a simplicity to set off the intricacies of the bird's plumage.
