He sure looks like he's posing for you. He just looks so cute and cuddly. Love the close up. The depth and light are great.

This is my daughters favorite animal since childhood. I call her Manda Panda sometimes. Very nice framing with the bamboo which are symbolic of the panda. Good composition and initial impact.

It is impossible to photograph a Panda bear and come up with a bad shot. This is no exception, the fellow is munching on his ever present bamboo shots and looking pleased. Nice shot Fred. Thanks for sharing.

Gave the 5 because this is an amzing capture of the panda we hardly ever see here on far. But the blow out on the right side is hard to ignore Fred. I understand the difficulties of shooting white and black and it can be done. I shoot white birds daily in full sun. The key is using your in camera histogram, manually setting white balnce and knowing where to stand.
That said, I would have used the healing tool that clones and taken it out.
But, A FINE Close up of this beautiful bear Fred. So yeah you dude!

many thanks Sange; this was taken 3 years ago with a compact camera: no histogram or white balance setting; and moreover, I never used Photoshop or similar.............too complicated for me
