I want to stand and clap for you. Admitting a small fault and going back to review all her work and then give tribute to her.
I am glad you gave her username as I do plan to look her up.
Another great page.

You're welcome. Would her stuff still be shown, even though she left?

no i just checked and she is not there anymore. i did a google search and it does show her profile page but thats all. shame she had some cool cartoons. i wonder if she is still alive.

Awesome tribute! You are so right about initial impact and how we recognize artistic expression. How an image impacts our senses is what makes great art to me. Whether cartoon, fine art, digital art, mixed media, or traditional photography, that initial impact speaks of the true worth of the image. Well done here:)

Well, that's a lovely tribute to Doris, Mark. How very kind of you to take the time to promote her work in this way. I'll bet she's thrilled! This work is jam-packed with comical little anecdotes and I particularly love the kitten flat on its back with laughter.

It's not the type of drawings I like, but there is some creativity but it's still hidden behind, there isn't continuity between the characters around the person whose drawing which might people like but I find it distracting

This tribute piece is a wonderful work of art celebrating Doris the artist but more so Doris the person beyond the artist...of the few months I've known Doris, she is the most genuine individual on this site and her expressive art pieces are uncompromising in terms of her vision and style of art...six stars to a wonderful illustration but ten stars for the exceptional person that Doris is...amen

Very well done! Nice tribute, with a really great work of art. Doris indeed has an amazing talent to portray the expressions of her characters, as well as evoke emotions in the viewers, but so do you! Great job, both of you! :)

As I am beginning to really appreciate & understand your talents, I can see a very useful need for your work.
I wonder if that's Doris standing over Doris scratching her head about where all this talent comes from...lol

This is great cartoonist work and should be developed into a newspaper funny section, especially about the people who run this world.

For instance, I can see a Bush, and an Obama with several Senators & representatives in government that I could name who are presented here.

We need such laughter these days especially as a great way to send them all a message, that they are all just a bunch of clowns.

Here's my first six of the week.
