Beautiful, crisp scene. Nice balance of water, sky, and land. Looks like a wonderful place to walk. Focus is very sharp. Great.

Hello Willi

Sharp and clear and rich colors. Photomatix images have a look all their own. The colors are rich and I like the way the color blue is handled.

This image has a wide range so you an see how you like each one. The two colors I have problems with at times are Red and Yellow.

I think in this picture they are all very good and I like this picture.

Thank you for sharing with me.

Roger

Thank you for your comments! I have tried this on a large variety of subjects and most don't really look good but scenes like this look great. I have not done any with multiple exposures. I plan on trying that soon.

The texture is so much defined; I am quite taken about the pattern on the woods place on the roof. This has a wonderful composition which defines the wonderful depth. Thank you for sharing.

Very fine detail especially in the wood grain I can see every line. Great angle, lighting and good composition

I think it is perfect. Your angle is just right. It shows off the new wood work along the river front and a glimpse at the new building. Got it right.

Good Morning Willie!

I'm certainly not the one to offer suggestions - as you know, I know nothing about photomatrix. So I can only offer my impression.

The image, POV, focus etc. is all spot on. But something, and I can't put my finger on it (maybe its the tonal mapping) is causing the distant elements of the shot to loose their natural appearance. Foreground is phenomenal - but as my eye goes back, things begin to look altered or manufactured. I don't know - might just be my monitor or my tired eyes.

Thank you so very much! This program provides a look not found anywhere else. I think it is meant to make the shot look unnatural, more like a painting. This scene is not that bad.

Love the pagoda like seating area leading you into this image. Great colours, nice and sharp, with good DOF.

Technically, focusing, framing, and exposure look great. The perspective of this image is different but very effective. Nicely done.

As an artistic photograph it is perfect, good composition, angle and distance to the scene - your color adjustments and modifications are perfect letting the image shine - it has a handsome abstract on the golden walk way reflecting the blues of the waters , so as an art picture it is perfect

As a postcard: there are total different criteria - I was director of the biggest tourism enterprise in the world and had a lot of insights to marketing etc - as a tourist postcard this scene is too busy. People are coming stressed out seeking calm and harmony - so tall what is inside of this frame could be in two or three different post cads from different angles and positions - for example just the walkway with the river - that is hard to from the angle as there s a house or construction in red that kills the peace - the brick house at the border is OK - the green rood home or part of the restaurant is a special architecture style and can be perfectly on own post card for these who wish a memory of the good food they got there. Let them see the river in a way they see it standing there - I would need to see more picture's to say more - your image shines, it has happy colors and it attractive - if your would place heaven into the place of the red construction it would also gain the perfect calm - taking that building apart - hope It was helpful

Thank you so very much! Your input about the postcard is valuable to me. I am also going to offer some nature pictures as well, mostly birds. I may ask your opinion again!

to me-not being an expert photographer this looks absolutely stunning willie & I would have thought you would have no trouble selling post-cards with this sort of work-the colours I feel are perfect as is initial impact depth detail & contrasts once again showing good skills in capture & adjustments!!

Anything to do with photography is a great pleasure. If I can earn a few bucks along the way it is icing on the cake!
