I really like this piece. I enjoy seeing the different personalities of storms. The moon peeking out from behind the azure clouds and highlighting the water's surface is well done. The hint of pink in the sky is a nice touch but I think it would be better placed near the horizon due to the placement of the moon.

Beautiful scene, very dramatic. I always had respect for water, this shows why. It shows how beautiful and cruel the sea can be at one glance.

So brilliant the composition. So darkly emotional the scene.
Wonderfully moving both in motion and in feeling. I swear I can almost hear the crashing of the surf and smell the salt-spray air! A creation to be proud of and a fine painting that would grace any wall. Well done and thank you for sharing.

The lighting in the background helps to focus your eye on the cashing wave. The little touch of pink saves it from being dreary, instead it becomes a point of hope - after the storm comes the calm. Very well done!

The feeling of a dark night, the howling winds and pounding surf creates a powerful scene. The slight hint of the break in the clouds might let the moon shine later. The scene has enough of a feeling of strong motion and movement that I am glad that I am not on the water in any kind of boat.

So very well done. Great compositional choices were made with a gray angle and placement of your water, waves, and land mass. The color and lighting nuances without have been done with expert rendering and care to create the total mood of the storm to come. I love that little touch of brightness in the distance to remind us of what was before and what will come after the storm. Excellent.
