You've created a beautiful image here, Cleo, depicting the Australian Aboriginal creature of legend. He looks quite benign as he smiles, swimming through the water. Love the delicate colours you used here and also the interesting shapes. Really lovely digital art painting. Suzanne

Cool,Cleo!
I'm not familiar with Australian Aboriginal myths at all but I'm reminded of the creator serpent Damballah Wedo of classic Vodoun ( 'voodoo' ), the Midgaard Serpent of the Vikings, and the much maligned Lightbringer as the 'evil' serpent in the 'garden of eden' myths of the mainstream monotheistic religions.
( We humans are such imaginative creatures, aren't we? )
Your digital painting of this ancient deity is interesting and enjoyable,my friend!
'Good Show'!
~Sean

Hi Cleo, this is just lovely! It's magical, there is a nice sense of such graceful motion here as the serpent moves forward, this has the look of a wonderful storybook page, the colors are expertly used . Very beautiful and a true pleasure to see! Very best wishes to you in this contest!

The first impression of this image is one of brilliant colour. You have go the rainbow colours right on. It is a magical, fairytale sort of being- true to the legend you describe. I can virtually feel him gliding through the water. Good composition - he almost fills the frame but you gave him enough water to swim freely.

This really is very cleverly done with the deconstructed rainbow blending into the water - the harmony of the colours is exquisite. Very creative and enjoyable work.

Very nice painting. Love the soft colors used. The creature looks cute and I really like how you made the water a rainbow. Great job.

I love the legend and I most particularly love the art work you have created Cleo, that so beautifully represents the joyful nature it the Legend offers.
Beautiful colors well blended and lending a sense of movement.
I have been away for 21/2 months and although I currently am not submitting anything, I have not forgotten you.
I hope things are well and I hope you win this contest.
