Yes a definite departure and much like the style you used in the Hobbies contest. Almost a comic book feel and look to both. I would imagine this out of your imagination rather than from a reference photos. I do like the expressive pieces as they are just that, neither right nor wrong, they are what they are and what the artist intended! ALso moving out of the proverbial zone is good for the soul! Jean

Thanks Jean. The 'Hobbies' entry didnt do too well even though its currently one of my favourites of my work. Recognised your entry too which was a departure from your usual. Voted for it! :) R

LOL! Well, sometimes one cannot hide, this reminded me of an old fashioned postcard or greeting card. The colors I think and the style too! I like going a more expressive route because it will take you to different places in your art. This is a good example. I like this and would look at it in a show for sure! Jean

Impact 5 certainly is creative you could do an entire series on mental illness and submit it to some psychology mag LOL. This is Schizophrenia- see things that are not there, here things that are not there or misimnterpret what is heard, often have people or things inside of them or controlling them, their actions..paranoia for a lot of them.
