Yes, the image does look fuzzy but as you say that is due to the upload. This reminds me of pre-raphaelites. I am amazed you have done this in coloured pencil and not watercolour or oils. It must have taken ages to complete. Ever so attractive in soft colours which really appeal to me. Has an art nouveau look.

Thanks susanlen! I am indeed a big fan of Rossetti and the pre-raphaelites so Im glad for the comparison. :) R

Such a beautiful and very graceful and feminine image. Love all the detail you have done, and the colored pencil is rendered very skillfully. A creative work. The frame surrounding her is just exquisite. I am not familiar with the artist you mentioned, but can tell you that this is wonderful!

I recognized it for sure as I once painted one too LOL - the style is incomparable, very feminine, romantic, old Greek or Roman life Style - you did a great job on all the details and color combinations in the different areas, a work that needs love and true dedication, perfectly presented in details, a pity that the photograph made is fuzzy as it really is very beautiful

I'm no art expert, so am probably totally wrong on this, but to me it has a pre-raphaelite look to it, which is great as this was a romantic age in painting. This is a glorious painting, i love it!

Beautiful work. So elegantly executed. Lovely use of color that gives a classy attractive look. This looks so much like it should be on stained glass which would look amazing. Love it.

I have an original of this and I am taken how accurate you have translated the shape of the body. There is no any deformation which tells your high drawing ability. Yes, the image is quite blur and you really need to improve your digital presentation skill in order to get proper appreciation from your talented works. Thank you for sharing.

Agreed, the larger version is difficult to see; this is quite stunning, Raoul! Great mastery of the colored pencil, the style is carried through to perfection! I love the dress-very well done piece overall! Jean
