Its a great tribute to the Charlie Daniels band. I selfishly want a tiny little fiddle tattoo on the devil..the color is good, the imagery is great.

There is no better memorial at a death musician then to remember him at the performances back when he was at the top of his carrier with one of its popular songs. Your drawing is also an excellent interpretation of the song. Thank you for you interesting comments. You gave both songs a fair acknowledgement by including a guitar and a fiddle.

Oh that contest was years ago. I only revive this because he died a couple days ago..he is a icon in country music. Thanks for the great review

This devil is really evil looking and angry. He has huge wings. I like the flames all around him. Charlie Daniels looks small in comparison. Well done drawing! Thanks for clearing up the song.

This is great! The red really brings the devil forward. The fire behind his wings helps to put emphasis on the devil and his red hot guitar. The man in the green playing the fiddle adds to the image. This is excellent my friend.

I have to say the Devil gives me the creeps and no doubt other people feel the same. Your version is very frightening but even more tame imagines cause me to shudder. I think it is the Devil's eyes that have that effect on me in particular. Surprised there is not a group called The Devils but perhaps there is! I am rather out of touch with rock music. Could see Freddie Mercury from Queen dressing up like your Devil!
