Beautiful close-up. Focus is tack sharp on the face and a nice soft background. Great lighting, focused on the face then slowly fading to darkness. . Really nice catch light in the eye. Colors "pop" against the dark background. Your composition here is excellent. Great job.

Excellent close up of this squirrel with his big black shinny eye and cute little whiskers. A good entry for this contest and technically excellent photo. Focus is pin sharp, exposure very good and I like the close up view. The only thing I might suggest is to move the head a bit off center to the right. Good luck in the contest.
