A very pretty flower which we call bottle brush plant in the UK. I have grown these myself in containers and most of the time they are fine. I ended up with quite a big specimen. But the very cold winters of late put paid to it and it did not survive! The flowers are a wonderful red colour as you shown in your phoograph. You can see where the common name comes from because they do resemble bottle brushes!

Thanks very much, we have some bushes and some trees which are a mass of these flowers in spring. We also call them bottlebrush.

A very well composed shot with the focal point taking up the proper amount in the frame. Good focus to allow us to see some fine detail. Love the vivid color of these blossoms. The green foliage and blue of the sky peeking thru offers some very nice contrasting yet complimentary color. Well done.

Nice contrast of color. Good attention to details. Lacks clarity in some areas. Odd angle, feels like the bloom is going to hit you in the head.

It's a good close up of The plant.
The focus on The red "brush is excellent.
The composition is good (I would maybe have tried to move The green entering The frame on The left out of The way)
The narrow doff works well.
The exposure is spot on.
