I like the colors, the red background with its subtle patterns are a good backdrop for the ball of yarn and the kittens. The image has good feeling of perspective for the most part.
The feeling of perspective would be enhanced if there was a better demarcation between wall and floor. You ahem accomplished that some what with the shadow under the ball of yarn, but it needs to be extended with maybe a slight line between wall and floor.
I think that the details on the front kittens legs is too washed out, the white there is in need of little more color, so as to add form and texture to that area, to me it looks a little too flat.
The face of the kitten behind the yarn ball has a nice expression but it looks too pasted in and he is in need of some of his body showing.
Overall I like the idea and the use of color, but it is in need of a few adjustments in my mind to really make it a better composition and presentation.

Very cute and creative. Computers can do such great things yet they can be such a pain sometimes- sorry you had to start over! Very clear- the detail is amazing! Good luck in the contest to these adorable kittens.

It currently looks like a flat wall with no floor and the kittens and wool look like they are stuck to the wall rather then lying on a floor.
To create a floor which has some depth and perspective see the following video>

Create that floor with depth and perspective and I will upgrade this to six stars.
