Suzanne,
a beautiful Sunrise at Spurn Point with the sun's disc just on the horizon & radiating a semicircle of light above it the high fast moving clods catching the glow on their lower edges as are the "White Horses" as they crash onto the beach, the sea choppy to the horizon & a beautiful blue reflected from the heaves above. The plants on the shore in the foreground framing the beach. Created with love & great skill & brushwork, Your choice of colours & their blending and application is beautiful. Thanks for sharing this image with us.
Susan

I'm really not sure I'm qualified to critique a painting. All I can say is what I like, and I really like this. I can almost hear the water rushing up on the beach. The colors give it a peaceful feel. Thanks for this.

Fantastic initial impact - that is one kind of art I love, so soft and accurate in tones and moves - it unites several styles in one - your pastels are outstanding, your technique a mixture of oil and water is spectacular as they are normally opposite techniques that hardly merge, but you found the way and the result is excellent - super seascape, a winner image even without contest - super details on the waves and the color combination of the beach, the few plant make a great difference -the sky seems to reflect the waves - the other way around as normal, amazing job - what would be the price for such a painting?

Thank you so much, Regina, for your really lovely review. I'm very pleased you like this. I don't get the opportunity to sell paintings where I am in the UK now so would have no idea of price! Suzanne

A beautiful painting Suzanne and it would look good hanging on any wall. Ilove the nice soft texture of the foreground and the raging waves of the sea. Wow the UK has been taking a bettering in past few weeks.

Regards,
Robin.

As usual, I love the artistic rendition of the waves and skyline.
I like the setting sun bowing in great respect for the time, respect and fun!
Visually soothing.
Mysterious and generous.
Thanks for sharing.

I think I commented on this piece one time before. However, you have so many beautiful piece it's hard to keep track. I love the tones of blue. Great texture as well as depth of the waves. The white salty foam you painted spot on. I love the glow of the sun as well. Such a relaxing feel. Wish I were there now:o) Nice work:o)

Thank you very much for your very nice review. No, you've not reviewed this before. It's a new post but I've done lots of seascapes so it's very easy to confuse them! Suzanne

Amazing textured detail to show the high seas and the rough water churned up. The power in the water with the white caps shows incredibly in this excellent oil.

Gorgeous image that I had to look at very closely as at first I mistook the sea for the sky..you blended the sky and ocean so well . Beautiful colours in this image. Love the beach -so mellow against those crashing waves. The light coming from the morning sun spreads all the way to the bottom of the frame. The composition is excellent - nice balance betweent the grasses to the left and the smaller green areas to the right. Your brush work has created so much texture in all the elements of this image. A beautiful painting.
