MK, the eyes ... the eyes. They got me!
One of the problems of our FanArt technology is the small image which robs us of the impact of the details.
The full front face I'm going to study carefully. I'll borrow shamelessly your technique. Getting the eyes, even the pupils in exact alignment is more than well done.
I could go on but you'd get tired of it!

Give ur self a test Paul..if u draw the eyes to where theymove when u walk from one side of the iimage to the other then u nailed it..wink. Thanks for the awesome review

Sorry, I cannot host a contest right now. I was out of commission for some medical and only on a break till the end of the month when some more medical comes up. To survive I posted some older work from my storage folders for the last month or so [don't tell],but I will try to participate when a contest comes up. Indeed who could resist that sweetheart of a dog with a typical heard breaker expression.

i was wanting to do something a lil different..give the challenge this time to the digital artist and mix media but no contest but a another opportunity to receive more reviews..i send them this file and they create their own version of a valentine card..yall do it from photos all the time..why not from my drawing?..u can say im doing a multicollaboration with many over the same pic..sounds kinky..evil grin..lol..but the real winner u will be getting those almight reviews that helps towards year end ..hint hint./.thanks for the great review

I know what you mean, but I cannot work much at the moment. My eyes are healing at the moment. I do not see to well. I have more surgery coming up before the end of the month. I promise nothing, but I will see what I could do.

grrrrrreat work Mark & now I see there is a comp. available-curses too late... but I love what you've cleverly constructed with this lil cutie & the rose using super colour contrasts & excellent detail with good light effect I think its a shame to alter it, still you never know what will come from the challenge, I wouldn't mind having a dabble with it but can't promise anything!

grrrrrreat work Mark & now I see there is a comp. available-curses too late... but I love what you've cleverly constructed with this lil cutie & the rose using super colour contrasts & excellent detail with good light effect I think its a shame to alter it, still you never know what will come from the challenge, I wouldn't mind having a dabble with it but can't promise anything!

what a cool challenge. wish I could do better with fonts, but this is one heck of a valentines card, has the adorable appeal with the AWHHHH afterword's.

with a flick of your Bic and a touch of your imagination, this is a very tender scene for the season of Valentine' Day. The puppy has very realistic qualities and the rose is a nice touch. I can just see this little guy being put to carrying this rose to his master's girlfriend. Talk about melting someone's heart. Great presentation and reminding us of the important day that is on its way.

This is great. And I know Ryder would so go get me a rose for the holiday if the flowers were not buried under oh say 2 feet of snow in the back yard! lol I love it!
