I love this guy! Great shot!
That expression is amazing.. and you can see how intelligent he is by his eyes.
"The Thinker" he is probably saying "silly people" .. but I will pose for her.. got nothing else to do."
Very clear, you have captured the textures in his coat very well.. love the lighting.. and just a touch of green in the background. If I live near this zoo, I would be there everyday! Our National zoo is not that great.. Wonderful photo! Thank you for sharing!

An outstanding pose and a perfect perspective to make the most of it. Excellent details in the face as well as the fur. The tight framing is great and just a bit of foreground grass and the soft background give it perfect balance.

Impressive cute candid capture of a smart looking ape with that approving hand gesture. Did he really pose for you?
Very human like facial expression...
Interesting subject with a strong initial impact.
Thanks for sharing...

I think he did pose for me Dick. He was sitting like this, and when I picked up the camera to shoot, he was looking at someone else, then he looked over at me. like he was saying, go ahead do your thing. :)

Another great capture from you trip the zoo. Donkeyoatey would be proud of how well you caught the human expression on this exquisite animal. Color, clarity and detail are all top notch. Great job, Eileen.
