A beautiful scene with great colors. I like your composition which places emphasis on the foreground. I would
crop down from the top to eliminate the white in the upper right. Alternatively you might just clone it out. Bright areas in the background invariably attract the eye, which is a shame in this beautiful image.

A beautiful piece of Spring that makes me long for it to arrive here. We had freezing rain last night on top of the accumulated snow...I can only dream of tulips and your lovely image helps me do this. I like the long view of this image..the tulips seem to go on and one so nicely planted at the foot of those wonderful-looking trees. A great shot.

Thanks Julika - several reviewers suggested cropping to remove brightness in background which they believed distracted - hope you like the reload :) Mary
reply by julika on 22-Feb-2014
The reload is very good..by cutting out the background...the trees and the hint of other flowerbeds filled with tulips ....has created a very different image. I think both are good and I am not trying to sit one the fence here...it all depends what it is you want to convey.

A lovely sight, made me long for early Spring. Tulips are always signs of new beginnings for me again. I think, you can also crop the top to increase focus, and decrease the brightness a bit. This is really a refreshing sight.

This is not during the festival? But there were so many! REally beautiful colors and abundance of flowers. I like your angle of being right there in them.
