Love the painting. Colors, brush strokes, image and style are amazing. I can feel the jazz musicians play and get down to the music. Nice job capturing the true essence of these great musicians.

Very impressive.! Lively! I can here the music! I am reminded of my good old days too! The colours, light, composition and the expressionist style make this a sure-shot eye ball grabber. Thanks for sharing!

I like this Suzanne - full of atmosphere with great story telling. The background shading is perfect for the 'Jazz Club'. The pose of the players is excellent and the shading in their clothes is perfect.
In particular I like their hair. Great work - Ronnie

You did a fantastic job with an impression. Your memory and ability to put down in acrylics this scene are amazing. The look is reminiscent of the 60's jazz scene here in America.

Suzanne, details in impressionistic images matter naught for this is about jazz, and jazz moves us, the music, the chords, the tempo ...it is all about feeling.

Your art possesses that quality, that feel aspect. It is alive with fire as depicted in hot reds and exciting yellows and how appropriate that you composed those colours close to the horn...the mellow peaceful notes can be heard in the purple hues of your canvas emminating from below and beside. We see shapes of people enjoying the sound and the two artists are engaged with cheeks blown out.

I especially like the brush strokes you applied to the canvas, confident and congruous they set your canvas ablaze with colour and sound.

I like the fat sax player, I like the gray hair I like their body expression.

You have encapsulated in your art a feeling and I am a lover of jazz (actually have downloaded some great jazz from Vietnam and am listening to it right now)....and this art sits perfectly with me...details are ample...dimensional drawing good and composition stellar. So there!

Very nicely done. I am not sure if I can add to what has already no doubt already been said by those who know what they are talking about (I don't read previous reviews). All I know is that I like this and in my opinion you are very talented and I hope you post other wonderful works Suzanne ~ Steve

Great choice of colors - really gives off the vibe of the music being jazz. I like the touches of yellow and orange, which are complementary colors to the purple and blue. I also like that you've given some depth to the picture by depicting listeners further in the background, putting them in silhouette and showing them smaller in scale. The expressions on the musician's faces show how much they enjoy making music. Good job. Please review my two paintings "Sky Full of Sweet Peas" and the Lilly Pond one, "Aquatic Life". Thanks.
