Then who am I to disagree! Very nice close up of a beautiful work of art and memory. Just my opinion, but I feel if you had added a back ground with clouds for this piece it would be a bit more appealing to the eye. Your focus and clarity seem quite good. Thanks so much Ed and I actually thought about doing the clouds but didn't . Will try that and thanks so much for your help! I always take critisism nicely. I play nice in the sandbox :)

You make me smile again - I have a huge series of such kind of statues , seems in older times these statues on graves were quiet common - today it is too expensive - this one really looks very peaceful - your picture is clear and sharp, well framed - good background choice - super focus and exposure showing the textures of the statue in details - your lighting is fantastic, seeming t enhance this statue - amazing how simplicity works - simple and powerful with a great message - sleep in peace and when you awaken I will feed you - super job
