Take advantage while she lives there as accommodation is really expensive we booked budget accom but it was shocking so went to another hotel but had to reduce time as it was too expensive to stay long :)

A curious habit we people have of celebrating wars and those that have died in them. I like the harsh light and how it defines the textures. Beautiful blue sky and fine composition.

Thanks Mike - I believe originally it was hoped that people could see from such memorials the tragedy and total futility of war - unfortunately we don't seem to learn.
