absolutely beautiful Cleo. I am sure I have mentioned before how hard I find it to paint flowers but you have made it look so effortless here. Love the colours and the soft brush strokes used. A really pretty piece created

ha ha, Oh I know, thats why it deserves high scores he he. I wouldn't even know where to start to create this. The thumbnail actually looks like a photo!!

I am cheating. I make a scratch on paper after nature or reference photos. Than either scan the scratch or transfair it with the raster method to the paint program.

Even so, I bet if I tried that it would look nothing like your effort. One day I will have to play about with the digital painting, I love the effect

Love it! The gorgeous colours have a lovely bright Spring feel to it, one can almost smell the lovely scent of freesias coming from the painting.

Yes I have grown these a few years back as they are so beautiful. These are a great rich red colours which is lovely against the yellow and green. Sure shows spring is in your part of the world.

Thank you very much for the introduction - a very beautiful flower image, they really looks meat with their trumpet blooms so close together - I love the environment you have given them with all the other different kind like dancers in spring time just sticking the nose through the snow - a happy radiant image, great in color choice and composition, well done
