A beautiful picture of this Green Helibore, I think might be called Bells of Ireland ( at least in Ireland) Beautiful composition & lighting with superb camera techniques with razor sharp focus.

Like the way you have displayed the flower as the main focus. The shadows and light bring out the detail of the stamens and petals. Good b/g well framed
Thanks Mary for sharing

I wonder if my guess is right that this is a hellabore or winter rose. They flower when few other flowers venture to bloom in the winter and provide a happy find in the garden. They come in a variety of subdued colors - - beautiful but welcome when we are starved for flowers. Nicely photographed.

Wow thanks so much for your high rating and comments. Not sure if you are right looks very similar but it is autumn here in Australia.

Lovely color, a delight to look at. Focal point is a little confusing for me in between the petals and the leaf on the bottom but I really like it and it is certainly a good shot. Great lighting and framing, love the composition and angle as well.

I Think I would have tried a slightly different angle here, and not a front view. The top of the flower isn't showing and is overexposed. The focus is off a bit on the main subject and leaves. The macro attempt was not a complete fail, it still shows off your purpose in some details, and colors. The background came out perfect for this scene!!

This should be in the Seeing Green contest. Such a cheerful yellow/green this little flower is showing us. Nice angle that you caught the flower at.

What a cute little flower and looks unique with all the little delicate parts. Good frame and a nice background, might be FAR upload, but the focus looks a bit soft.

Thanks again George, no it was my wonky hand after climbing up and down the hill - was getting little tired :)

This so pretty. The back lighting shiny thru the petals is great, the varying
shades of green are great too. Just try to focus on the center of the photo, it will be perfect. Thanks.

Thanks so much, yes missed center of flower sharpness - but just loved this flower. :)

This pretty little flower is indeed green. Almost the same colors as a lime. I like very much the background in this photo with not only green, but also blue tones, and because of the softness the flower is standing out really well.

It is lovely the way the light is shining through the petals, and all over exposure is very good. Unfortunately the focus is off leaving the inner of the flower rather blurred. Really a pity since it looks so pretty.

The cropping is well done, and the flower has got a good placement within the frame. It is a lovely photo, but the focus needs to be better for this flower to really stand out.
