I love old maps and I love Treasure Island and the little cup is looks right at home. Nice coloring, very creative and gives me some ideas to try out with my kids.

What a wonderful image, the coloring of the book cover works very well with the shading of the Quaich.

I just had to go look up the history of the quaich, seems it, according to wikipedia, was "invented" in the highlands of Scotland.

"in 1589, King James VI of Scotland gave Anne of Denmark a quaich or "loving cup" as a wedding gift."

I also now see what you mean about how I could use my Birch Bark as a backdrop.

Thank you so very much for the lovely review Steve. The one you see here was a present from my mother in law living in Aberdeen in Scotland. This is only one way you could use your bark as a backdrop.

A very warm and beautiful composition , super arrangement - amazing Celtic objects, I am familiar with the hidden treasures of the Celtics and I love t - your image is very luminous and the gold of the object shines out - the fact that the writing of the books is gold too creates a wonderful color harmony

a beautiful composition, interesting content and time mixture, well done

The figure of the man is a little dark, but the overall presentation is great.

I especially like how the background fits the golden chalice & fire colors.

Thanks for sharing.
