Was attracted by the texture of the flower at first then noted the interesting centre which contrasts well against the red/orange leaves. LIke the rippling reflection.

that is a pretty poppy. there are so many different types of poppies. double, california, middleeastern, many colors etc.

they are getting to be one of my favs too.
I planted some white cal. poppies last year and I am waiting to see if they come back. so far no show.
