Great story telling shot. I love the effects of the effort. The story is very evident. The scene is well put together and the various photos have blend well. The lighting allows us to see each section clearly and then allows it to be tied together well.

You are something else! This is the first time I have read reviews FIRST. My Goodness People have their Bible facts all wrong!
Exodus 2:1-2:2 "Now a man of the tribe of Levi married a Levite woman, 2 and she became pregnant and gave birth to a son."
Now Because they were Levites they would have the appearance of someone of South Asia. Most likely he had very olive to tan skin. To rate a beautifully created piece like this over Color of the baby or using a modern baby? I have been in the medical field since I am 25, I worked for internists, orthopedic surgeons and now dentistry. All babies look the same to me! Only thing that has changed is where the mothers have them and the cameras that were used to take the photos!

I love the lighting ,the layers, Jochebed (mother of Moses) the tall reeds and I believe that is Sweet baby Thomas Playing Moses!
You are the QUEEN of layers and this one is special and Magical in every way.
You have brought the verses to life. You have told the story well and no words are needed. I just voted for this and came by to review it! =)

I think this review is typical for what you like or not like instead of looking at the quality. This is a photo contest which means that I have to use my own photos. Then of course I had to use a "modern" baby. I have a strong feeling babies looked very much the same at that time.
Anyway, thank you for the review.

what contest is this? there's nefertiti in the background, with a white baby moses. he was, as was all the egytians, were people of color. oh well if it works for you. nice concept though.

It says at the top which contest this is, and Moses was not an Egyptian. He was of the tribe of Levi which makes him a Hebrew or Jew. Thanks for the review.
