This is great Cleo. It clearly tells a story so you were successful in that goal. Your presentation does a good job of evoking emotion and contemplation. I think you did a nice putting this together. The font was a great idea and the textures throughout add even more interest to the scene.

So well executed. This is a very moving piece. Well designed and presented. So many can complete this story in many ways. The viewers imagination is forced to tell the story as they review the intense content.
I love that this image brings the viewer into the photo in an instant.
Excellent work! A contest winner in my book!

This impressive and emotive Cleo. I like the monochromatic grey like tones, the definition of discarded on the wall, the elderly woman blank like stare and the way your Title and work draws us in.
I only don't care for whatever is going on under the chair. The brightness and lack of detail on whatever it is I find to be a distraction. I am not sure if it's part of the chair or not.
It does not like it fits in this scene.
Nice layer work Cleo ;)

Thank you very much for your encouraging comments. The white think beneath the chair is the stuffing hanging down. I will turn the exposure on it when ever I can make my editing program work. :o)

Wow! I actually feel this as I view it, I can see the time and thought you have applied here, the steps you took to create it, it's a very sad story this tells, of the old people , alone and discarded just like this old chair, they are people with feelings, and memories, they are facing the final years of their lives alone, away from family that they once cared for, left in the care of a facility, or left alone in their own home but without the love and support that they deserve. I have the most respect for the elderly, it's very sad for me to view this! You have done a fantastic job of bringing this sad reality out in your powerful work of art, I call it a work of art because of all you did to create it! Very well presented,

Nicely done cleo. Good conversions into monochrome with all the images and all nicely blended together. The negative image portraits was an excellent idea as well. Well arranged and framed. Nice shot.

Very Cool,Cleo!
It's the Ghosts!
The quiet Ghosts of all the quiet moments that we like to think have been 'discarded' but which actually never can be.
( They end up in different places, sometimes they even take on different forms, but they live forever! )
That's a very 'Good Show' of a picture,my friend! : D

Great work here Cleo. I am so glad you revived this one.

It really does tell a story on so may levels. You made a very wise and artistic decision in converting this to black and white. It gives such a dramatic look and feel. This is such a well done scene Cleo. Thanks again for reposting ~ Steve
