This is a very creative piece based upon an excellent idea. As always, you are the unchallenged master of flower photography and amazing backgrounds. These aspects of the image are absolutely first class. I love the way that the light radiates around the flower in the background. Similarly, the light textures and tonality on the flower are superb. The baby is also well placed as are the wings. However, what lets this down a bit for me is the blending between the baby and the flower. The edges are very harsh and there need to be some subtle shadow where the flower edges interact with the baby (e.g. contact shadows etc). Nevertheless, wonderfully creative work from the master :D

Thank you so very much for the lovely review and for your suggestions. I actually added drop shadows around the baby, but obviously not enough.

Very beautiful, breathtaking in fact and a lovely idea. Reminds me of Anne Geddes baby photography, don't know if she still does these but they were popular in the ninties I think .
Lovely job.

Cradled on the wings of a Peony. What a creative way to show off a little one in a whimsical way. Light is good. Nice color. Good choice of b/g to compliment the moment.
Thanks for sharing.

What an amazing image. The focus and DOF is superb. The composition is very creative, just the right amount of baby and the peony. The baby looks like he/she is right where he/she belongs. Awesome manipulation. The colours and lighting are great. The image totally makes me feel elated. Wonderful work.

You made me smile like a fool with this sweet image. Reminds me of the story of Thumbelina, a girl born from a flower. Love the wings and the soft textures, the delicate play of light and shadows and the excellent composition. Well done.

Anne Geddes has nothing on you. This is so sweet. The artistic thought that put this together is wonderful. The use of the various filters speaks of hours of practice and persistence. The combination of the burst and the fract filter gives this scene a heavenly feeling of angels being held by God's hand. Excellent work.
