I really like the way you have combined and used the colors in the lizard in the background.

The splayed effect and the zoom is very nice.

Perfect focus and wonderful framing!

It looks very much Mexican. This is the kind of ceramic which is famous especial in the southern part of the country.
Its a beautiful crisp capture which allows to see the inlay of beets and miniature tiles, It is indeed colorful including the most powerful color combination red and green. It seems perfect for the contest. Best Luck!

Thank you so very much for the lovely review. I suppose it looks Mexican but it was bought in Spain. My little grandson was so proud when he gave me this present after he had been on a holiday, and it was very important for him to point out that he had picked it out all by himself.

Well, The ceramics are very similar. It is hard to tell them apart. There is a huge Spain-Mexico influence which goes both ways.
Of course it is most important for kids to pick stuff like this all by themselves. :o)

Great colours and details, good images on its body, and definitely, very colourful. Looks like he may be invading the fridge by the size of him.

After looking at how you made a simple magnet look this good!! I'd beet you could make anything look just out of this world with those bursts, lines, shadows, light, details, focus, quality, colors, macro, angle, and every last other missing detail I forgot to mention that you never seem to forget!! Bless You -

A great entry. Indeed, this is so filled with contrasting colors and is pretty eye-catching. Love the background. High five on artistic presentation. Well captured.
